Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Coding Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately translating medical procedures into billing codes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign appropriate medical codes to procedures and diagnoses in accordance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Review medical records to ensure documentation supports code assignment
• Review reports to determine correct use of ICD-10 codes
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to resolve coding-related issues
• Stay updated on coding guidelines, regulations, and industry trends to maintain coding accuracy and compliance
• Stay updated with company coding protocols

Qualifications:

• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS)
• Minimum of 2 year of experience in medical coding
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using electronic coding software

Salary Range: $17 - $20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
